About Reservations
For Large Groups
The content of the experience is the same for both options, the only difference is the length of studio time.The 120-Minute Session is recommended for those who want extra time to work at their own pace without feeling rushed.*Please note that the start times may differ between the 90-Minute Session and 120-Minute Session.
Yes, it is possible to create two glasses in one session. However, if your goal is to create two glasses, we usually recommend that you make a reservation for two back-to-back sessions to provide adequate time.
Yes, one additional person can enter the workshop without participating per reservation group.Please note that because the room is small, if there are two or more additional people in the room who are not participating, they may be asked to wait in the hallway or another area. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Yes, you can. Taking photos and videos is permitted. Please note if you are using a tripod, or if there are more than two photographers, you will need to reserve the entire room, so please contact us in advance.
If there are open seats in the studio, you can add additional people onto your reservation day of. Our ability to accommodate additional short notice guest depends on the specific reservation situation that day. If you want to inform us of a specific situation, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Yes.We offer workshops in Japanese, English, and Chinese. We do request that a minimum of one member of your party can communicate in the language the workshop is conducted in so that communication can run smoothly. It is your responsibility to translate to the other members of your group and finish the workshop in the allotted time. No additional time will be granted to accommodate for additional translation time.
Yes, we do. We offer a variety of options.We offer paper boxes and wooden boxes for an additional fee. This is designed for those who want to gift their creations to others. A standard cardboard box is provided for free with the experience course . This is best for those want to protect their glass during travel, and don't care about the design of the packaging. *Please note that we are unable to add on additional box purchases after our register closes at 5:30 PM on weekends and public holidays. If you are participating in the 5:00 PM session and want to order a gift box, please inform the staff in charge before the session begins so it can be reflected on your receipt. Yes, of course.There are some limitations due to the nature of the carving machine, but we will do our best to accommodate you and help you reach your goal. If you have a question about if making a specific design is possible, please feel free to consult us in advance.
Yes, you can. We offer a few options.In the experience class you can engrave initials and names using simple cutting techniques yourself. Alternatively, you could ask the instructor to engrave your name for a fee. However this carving technique is limited to straight short cuts. It is also possible to add your name and logo in advance using a highly flexible technique called sandblasting. This technique can create a wider variety of shapes and angles, but must be ordered in advance. See here for details.
Yes, we have nearly 1,000 types of glasse products.We can also create custom original piece, so please contact us if you would like to make a request.
Yes, we are happy to share that information.We have a variety of English informational materials that can be passed out during our regular workshop, and we offer our Lecture & Workshop course for those who want a deeper understanding of Kiriko.Please contact us if you would like us to arrange all of our available informational materials for you in advance, or if you have any specific Kiriko questions. We appreciate your interest in Kiriko.
If you enjoyed the experience workshop, we welcome you to continue your study of Kiriko.We currently offer a weekly Skill Development Course for those who want to build their skills. At this time this course is only conduced in Japanese. This course is open to anyone with conversational Japanese skills.However, if you would like to request a skill development curriculum with English support, please contact us so we can share our options. We will do our best to help you find a way to develop your skills in a way that fits with your schedule and language ability.

Unfortunately, our studio is located on the second floor with no elevator access.We are able to hold wheelchairs on the first floor for guest who are able to climb a single flight of stairs.

No.You are not allowed to participate if you are intoxicated. Alcoholic beverages are forbidden in the workshop.Please note that you may be asked to leave depending on the situation.
